| Getting to Victoria...
Fly:To Victoria International Airport from Vancouver, Seattle and other
destinations. Float plane and Helijet services from Vancouver and Seattle.
Ferry: With BC Ferries from Tsawwassen, on the mainland, to Swartz Bay.
Other ferries also travel to Victoria from Seattle, Port Angeles and Anacortes
(Washington).
Bus: By bus to downtown Victoria from Vancouver on Pacific Coach Lines, via
BC Ferries, and from Seattle on Gray Line of Seattle, via Washington State Ferries.
Driving Directions from the Coho Ferry Terminal
Turn left onto Belleville Street when you leave the terminal, drive to the
first set of lights and turn left onto Government Street. Drive past the Empress
Hotel to the first set of lights and turn left onto Wharf Street, drive along
Wharf to Johnson Street and turn left over the blue lift bridge. At the first
set of lights there is a Shell Gas station turn right onto Tyee Road follow
this road which changes names from Tyee to Skinner, then Craigflower. At the
corner of Craigflower and Tillicum there is a Petro-Can station, turn right
go north one block to Selkirk Avenue, come up 150 meters and Selkirk Guest House
on the left.
Driving Directions from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal
Drive south on Highway 17 to the Mackenzie exit. Turn right onto Mackenzie and
immediately get into the left lane. At the first set of lights, turn left onto
Glanford Rd. Follow Glanford as it curves to the left. Keep left at Carey Rd.
There is a T intersection and a 7/11 store at the corner of Carey & Tillicum.
Turn right on Tillicum. Drive south on Tillicum, past the shopping mall, over
the bridge and Selkirk Ave is the second left after the bridge. Turn left on
Selkirk Rd, come up 150 metres and look for the power pole with two white rings
painted on it on the left. Selkirk Guest House is on the left, 934 is painted
on the driveway.
Bus Route
Take the #14 Craigflower bus from Downtown Victoria. Get off at the Tillicum
Road stop.
Come ONE block North to Selkirk Avenue Walk in 150 meters
Look for a three storey BIG WHITE HOUSE set by the water.
